In addition to the racing, driving experiences, parades and static displays, there’s a truckload of other attractions at Cars & Stripes.
Wildcat Aerobatics Display Team
The two PITTS Specials of the Wildcat Aerobatics formation display team will hurl themselves around the skies over Rockingham on July 2/3, rolling, looping and spinning through a series of extreme high-G manoeuvres, often only feet apart.
The Pitts is the world’s leading high-performance biplane, a winner of many international aerobatics competitions and a crowd-favourite at air displays.
Designed and built by aircraft engineer and aerobatics pilot Curtiss Pitts, the plane was first seen in 1946 and has remained in production ever since. Nowadays the planes are self-built or assembled at a factory in Wyoming, USA.
American Monster Truck Rides
With space for eight passengers, this is your opportunity to climb aboard a full size American monster truck for a thrilling ride. Ideal for adults and kids alike, experience this ride of a lifetime in one of trucks – Mayhem or Havoc!

Radio Controlled American Stock Car Racing (RASCAR) has all the drama of NASCAR stock car racing, but in miniature. Sporting the replica war paint of their bigger, real-life counterparts, the one-twelfth scale radio controlled cars race each other around a purpose-built oval track complete with a fully functioning pit lane, lap timing system, race control lighting, and even a Pace Car.
You can see the cars in action, and have a go at driving one, at the demonstration track on top of our pit garages.
More attractions to be confirmed, so watch this space for more details.
